Customer Care Representative

Monday - Friday 11: 00am to 8: 00pm


Essential Functions of Job:
  • Handling customer service calls from members, providers, and client representatives
  • Analyzing problems brough forth during phone inquiry and applying appropriate resolutions
  • Establishing and maintaining professional rapport with clients and providers (physicians and hospitals)
  • Maintaining and assuring accuracy of documentation
  • Continuous knowledge of numerous benefit interpretations
  • ASsist in on the job training of new members

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of CPT-4 coding and ICD-9 medical terminology a plus
  • 2-3 years experience in the medical field, customer service and/or claims processing background preferred

Must be non-drug user and be able to pass background check
