Job Description

Maintenance Technician 
Position Summary Industrial Maintenance Technician supporting a food production facility in Denver, CO.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Thursday. May include occasional overtime, weekend, or holiday shifts.
 
Available Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts 

Compensation & Benefits

Primary Responsibilities
  • Monitor and document equipment downtime, maintenance needs, and inventory usage.
  • Perform general facility and grounds upkeep.
  • Identify and resolve equipment or facility issues to reduce downtime and ensure safety compliance.
  • Assist with equipment setup and changeovers on production and packaging lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with operations, quality assurance, and sanitation teams.
  • Conduct routine and emergency maintenance as required by schedules or system alerts.
  • Carry out additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications / Education
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably food or beverage
  • Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
  • Mechanical knowledge of components such as motors, bearings, chains, gearboxes, and seals
  • Pneumatic troubleshooting experience (solenoids, compressed air systems)
  • Root cause analysis for mechanical issues
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (fuses, relays, starters, etc.)
  • Ability to read and apply equipment manuals for repairs
  • Proficient with multimeters and understanding of control and source voltage systems (single-phase and three-phase)
  • General facility repair knowledge (e.g., plumbing, lighting, flooring)
Requirements
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift 15–50 lbs (with or without accommodation)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Team-oriented mindset
Preferred but Not Required
  • Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
  • Skills in welding, fabrication, or machining
