Denver based equipment company offering robotic material drying solutions for collision repair, aerospace and industrial applications is looking to hire a Installation and Service Technician. We strives to provide the most technologically advanced refinishing drying equipment, which, not only enhances production but provides an environmentally safe atmosphere for the technician and community. Our robotic drying systems are fully automated, gas fired infrared paint curing systems, specifically designed for the automotive collision repair industry.
Currently seeking a Lead Installation/Service Technician to be based out of the Denver, Colorado area (Englewood, Co), and providing equipment installation and service needs for our clients throughout the U.S.
The Lead Installation/Service Technician is responsible for all aspects of equipment system installation and job-site oversight, equipment maintenance and repair programs, and for all related record keeping & documentation. Also, he/she recommends changes in systems, programs and equipment to improve reliability, increase capability, and/or reduce customer costs. The Lead Installation/Service Technician performs the following duties in the field with minimal supervision and coaching.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to troubleshoot and repair equipment systems, electronic equipment, programmable logic controllers ( PLC ), and related systems, supplies, and hardware.
Install and/or repair miscellaneous valves, hoses, cables, and pipe systems carrying, air and natural gas.
Reads and interprets schematic wiring diagrams, manufacturers manuals, blueprints, sketches and written instructions.
Oversees the work of others during the installation and/or maintenance or repair of mechanical systems; including apprentices or assistants, maintenance repair technicians, laborers, and/or students assigned as helpers.
Works with consultants, engineers and suppliers on designs, troubleshooting system or equipment and system upgrades.
Performs diagnostic analysis.
Lead, oversee, and manage all new system installations.
Performs periodic scheduled and corrective maintenance of installed equipment.
Repairs and correct equipment malfunctions as necessary.
Modifies or updates equipment when required.
Be involved in the problem-solving process regarding customer complaints.
3 to 5 years related job experience, and/or 2 years of trade school or equivalent apprentice experience.
Understanding of PLC controllers, low voltage control circuits and three-phase power, and natural gas mechanical systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams, schematics, and construction blueprints.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Valid driving record, with excellent driving record
Ability to travel within the US (only Monday - Friday travel)
