Our client is a warehouse that distributes aluminum cans for beverage companies. This position will primarily be operating forklifts (will train) to pull orders, move products, load/unload trucks, etc. Other warehouse duties will be assigned.
Requirements:
- On time/dependable
- Will be trained, but they will be logging into various computer systems. Must be willing to learn to operate various computer systems, nothing hard or major, they will train, but is very important part of the job
- Wants someone looking for a long-term career, this is family owned business, very stable.
- Detail oriented
What they do at TMSI:
They have thousands of empty cans/bottles on pallets that get loaded on trucks and shipped out all day long. They also have huge rolls of flat aluminum on pallets that get loaded on trucks and sent to manufacturer to be made into a soda/beer can.
They run 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Example: Week 1: They might work Sunday, off Mon & Tue, work Wed & Thur, off Fri & Sat Week 2: Off Sunday, work Mon & Tue, off Wed & Thur, work Fri, Sat
They work approximately 18 days per month. All associates start on day shift, but will be working nights to start after training
Not a lot of heavy lifting, probably will be more on a forklift, but doing a little of everything. Forklift: Will train, not required, but is part of the job
Lifting: 25-50 pounds, but not a lot of routine heavy lifting
PPE: Steel toe or composite shoe required
