Role Overview
As a Packaging Associate, you will be a vital part of our production team. Your primary focus will be safely and efficiently packaging our freshly baked products, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards before they are shipped to our customers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging & Assembly: Accurately pack individual items into cartons, display boxes, and master cases according to daily production schedules.
- Quality Control: Inspect products and packaging for defects, ensuring seals are tight, labels are correct, and only the highest quality products leave the facility.
- Palletizing: Stack sealed cases onto pallets securely and wrap them for safe transportation and storage.
- Line Maintenance: Keep the packaging area clean, organized, and free of debris. Sanitize equipment and workstations in accordance with food safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to maintain a steady workflow and meet daily production goals.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company safety protocols, and OSHA guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or food production environment is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate!
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot inconsistencies in packaging, labels, or product quality.
- Reliability: Strong track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
