Job Description

Material Control Specialist
Location: Lafayette CO
Hours: Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm
Type: Temp to hire
Pay: $23-$26/HR
Day to Day:

Receiving incoming materials and Shipping outbound manufactured parts
Inspect incoming materials and match to customer Purchase Orders (POs)
Document data gathered from inspection and testing of inbound materials
Create non-conformance reports and daily logs
Physical and electronic documentation using MS Suite and inventory management software
Labeling and organizing of inventory in storage
Cycle counts, tracking material returns, and general warehouse documentation
Work within shipping schedules working safely, efficiently and with time management confines
Positive attitude, ability to learn on the job and work well in teams and independently

Background of Candidate:

Driver’s License
High School Diploma or GED
1+ years of recent experience in similar role recently
Attendance and time management
Communication skills – spoken and written
Basic math
Inventory Management Software experience
Blueprint reading preferred
Knowledge of ASTM helpful
Safety, teamwork and respect are all core values
Forklift experienced and certified, or willing to get certified
Physical activities throughout shift, walking, stooping, bending, lifting etc.
