Forklift / Warehouse Associate
Location: Sedalia, CO
Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Position Summary
Our client is a leading plumbing and pipe distribution company looking for a dependable Forklift / Warehouse Associate to join their team. This is a hands-on warehouse position involving forklift operation, material handling, loading/unloading, and assisting customers with their orders.
The ideal candidate will have previous industrial forklift experience, be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed, and have a professional, customer-friendly attitude.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate an industrial forklift to move and stage materials throughout the warehouse and yard
- Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments
- Pull, stage, and organize plumbing and pipe-related materials for customer orders
- Assist customers with pickups and loading materials
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse/yard environment
- Move heavy and oversized materials as needed
- Work both inside the warehouse and outside in the yard depending on daily needs
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
- Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers
Requirements
- Previous industrial forklift experience is required
- Comfortable operating a forklift in a warehouse/yard environment
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
- Customer-service oriented and comfortable interacting directly with customers
- Able to perform physical warehouse/material handling duties
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Able to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
- Steel-toe boots required
- All other required PPE will be provided by the company
Additional Information
- This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.
- The company will provide forklift certification upon conversion.
- The company will conduct its own background check and drug screen at the time of conversion.
- Overtime is available.
