Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling mechanical components, reading blueprints, and ensuring all products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and products using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform quality checks to verify proper alignment, fit, and function of assembled parts.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, following all safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot and adjust assemblies to correct defects or inconsistencies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical assembly.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
- Must have own tools.
- Manufacturing or production floor environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
