Job Opportunity: Outbound Quality Control (OQC)
A leading manufacturing organization in Loveland, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Outbound Quality Control (OQC) professional to join their production team.
Position Overview
The OQC specialist is responsible for conducting the final inspection and preparing products to ensure they meet strict quality specifications before shipment. This role is vital to maintaining the high standards of a "Safety First" facility.
- Available Shifts: 1st Shift: 6am- 2 pm Monday – Friday
2nd Shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm Monday - Friday
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Testing: Manually inspect, check, and test products against required technical specifications.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary departmental documentation and calculate total footage for production orders.
- Quality Decision Making: Apply sound judgment regarding operational procedures and product quality to solve problems effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in a manufacturing facility.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals across various units of measure.
- Physical Requirements: * Ability to stand for long periods and frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
- High manual dexterity and fine motor skills in both hands.
- Visual acuity to see small defects and differentiate colors during quality control procedures.
Working Environment & Safety
- Safety Standards: Mandatory use of P.P.E. gear at all times.
- Environment: Indoor manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels and proximity to moving or heated equipment.
- Medical Notice: This role involves working near industrial equipment that generates electromagnetic fields (EMF), which may affect certain implanted medical devices.
