Production Associate
Schedule: Full-time
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
Overview:
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has solid mechanical aptitude, experience using both hand and power tools, and enjoys working in a team-oriented production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Assemble products using a variety of hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, socket wrenches, pliers, saws, sanders, and grinders.
Read, understand, and follow detailed assembly instructions and complex work orders.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company safety standards.
Participate in daily clean-up and sweeping of the department.
Work collaboratively with team members while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Report safety concerns or infractions promptly.
Job Requirements:
Hand and Power Tools: Experience using manual and powered hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, socket wrenches, Allen wrenches, pliers, reciprocating saws, etc.).
Reading Skills: Must be able to read and follow detailed work instructions.
Lifting: Regularly lift up to 25 lbs; occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder use (under 8’).
Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean work environment. Safety glasses are required in the work area (provided by company).
Interpersonal Skills: Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong team-player mentality.
Education & Experience: High school diploma preferred; relevant hands-on experience required.
Punctuality & Attendance: Must maintain reliable and consistent attendance and start times.
