Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at a medical waste treatment facility. This role is essential to the safe and efficient handling, processing, and decontamination of medical waste. As a Production Worker, you will play a critical part in the safe unloading, transport, and treatment of medical waste materials. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards while working in a challenging environment.

Job Description:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Worker to join our team at a medical waste treatment facility. This role is essential to the safe and efficient handling, processing, and decontamination of medical waste. As a Production Worker, you will play a critical part in the safe unloading, transport, and treatment of medical waste materials. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards while working in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unloading & Transport: Safely unload containers of waste from incoming trucks and transport them onto a conveyor belt for further processing.
- Handling Waste: Assist in moving containers and bins of bagged medical waste to the appropriate areas within the facility.
- Decontamination: Help dump waste bins into hoppers for treatment and assist in offloading and cleaning hoppers after the decontamination process.
- Container & Vehicle Cleaning: Assist in the decontamination of containers and vehicles used for transporting medical waste.
- Facility Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all areas are sanitized and free from hazards.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent exposure to hazardous materials and ensure the safety of yourself and your team.
- Must pass a UA drug test.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar environment (medical waste handling, hazardous materials, or industrial work preferred).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfort and willingness to work around medical waste and potentially unsavory conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow strict safety protocols.
