Job Title: Programming Machinist – CNC Vertical Milling
Location: Fort Collins, CO
 Compensation: Starting at $25.00/hour – DOE (Depending on Experience)
 Schedule: Full-time M-F Days
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Programming Machinist with the ability to take a project from print to part. The ideal candidate will be experienced in setting up their own jobs, writing and editing CNC programs, and operating Vertical Milling Machine Centers. This position requires proficiency in G-Code and Fusion 360, and hands-on experience with Mazak, Haas, and Hurco machines would be helpful.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Program CNC machines using G-Code and Fusion 360
  • Set up and operate Vertical CNC Milling Machines
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Perform own setups and select appropriate tooling
  • Ensure parts meet quality and tolerance specifications
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they arise
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
  • Understanding of G-Code and Fusion 360
  • Hands-on experience with Mazak, Haas, and Hurco CNC milling centers helpful
  • Capable of independently going from print to finished part
  • Solid understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerances
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
