Heavy Equipment Operators / Laborers will be responsible for ensuring road safety and functionality through the completion of various tasks while
following all safety requirements.
Location: Livermore, Waverly, Stove Prairie and Laramie River
Hours: 7am-5:30pm with 30 minute lunch 4days X 10hour shift
Type: Seasonal April-October
Pay: $21/HR
Day to Day:· Build, install, and repair guardrails, signs, mailboxes, cattle guards, railings, desks, walls and form work· Safely operate heavy equipment, hand tools, power tools and measuring tools· Comply with MSHA, DOT, Colorado 811 and other safety regulations· Accurate documentation using Word, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software· Physical tasks; bending, stooping, lifting, digging, sweeping, general labor tasks· Work well with teammates to complete planned projects and tasks
Background:· Must obtain Colorado Flaggers Certification within 2 weeks of employment· Valid driver’s license· Must be at least 18 years of age· Safety-toe shoes required· Good communication skills- written, over the phone/radio and in person· Ability to follow instruction both verbal and written· Reliability and attendance are very important for this role
