Travel Technician NEEDED ASAP!!!
Position Summary:
As a Traveling Technician, you will be responsible for the safe installation, service and repair of machinery at various client sites across the United States and Canada. You will work independently reporting to the Service Manager mostly Monday through Friday 8 hour shifts. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide mechanical installation, repair and maintenance service on our machineries to our customers sites
- Responsible for maintenance & operating training to customer representatives
- Ensure trouble shooting analyze and diagnose for all machineries malfunctioning cases, whether mechanical, electronic/electrical, and pneumatic
- Service intervention directly to customer sites in order to make all necessary arrangements to ensure the efficient and successful problem resolution
- Service Reporting
- Establish a good working relationship with customers on all sites and ensure their satisfaction at all times
- Ensure the Company policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times
- Ensure all company equipment is kept secure at all times
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
Background Profile:
- Electrical experience and mechanical experience needed
- Ability to read blueprints and basic math skills to convert voltage etc.
- Self-starter and ability to work on your own and manage your own time
- Strong problem-solving skills; root cause analysis of machine issues
- Attention to detail when reporting and documenting activities on the road and expense reporting using basic Xcel
- Experience in technical service interventions mainly on industry machineries
- Technical Diploma or Equivalent work experience
- Troubleshooting ability
- Mechanical, electronic/electrical, and pneumatic principles knowledge
- Expertise in the use of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments
- Problem solving attitude
- Strong command of the English language
Job Type: Full-time Direct Hire
Salary:
- $31-$32/HR plus $70 per travel day
