Working Ranch ManagerSeeking an experienced Ranch Manager to run a 35,000 Acre farm with 2,000 head of cow. Day to Day:Oversee the management of 2,000 head of cattle, calving, vaccinations, medical treatments, branding, and general property maintenance. This role demands a hands-on approach, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of cattle ranching.
Ranch Operations
Continuous improvement goals for the ranch with safety and production as the top priorities
Leadership and Management
Manger a team of 5 Ranch Hands- hands on leading by example
Cattle Management
Feed Schedules, Calving, Vaccinations, medical treatments, branding and all property maintenance
Property Maintenance
Oversee property and interact with vendors when needed for upkeep
Experience:
5 years of experience as a Cattle Ranch Manager
Strong knowledge of raising cattle
Leadership, management, organization, multitasking, communication skills
Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
